Sunday, June 27th - G20 Protest in my neighborhood
Today as I was heading home from a photoshoot I noticed a whole lot of police officers just down the street from my apartment so I headed down to check out what all the commotion was about.
Im still not sure what was happening, and I know for a fact most of the people there had no idea either. There seems to be a lot of people in this city who just like to gather when there are cops around to yell out stupid comments and start chants about nothing.
At one point I heard someone yell out that the police looked sexy, and then the crowd proceeded to chant about how they want them to take their clothes off and make a calendar of sexy cops. There was also an older lady there who kept accusing everyone of being members of the Black Bloc.
There are definitely no shortage of crazy people here in Parkdale and they seem to love standing in the middle of the street yelling at police.
There was a guy who came out with a sign to protest against the protesters. He spent most of his time there telling everyone how poor and stupid they were. I thought that was kinda funny. Also, right as the protest was dying down a couple crusty punks came dressed as clowns and acted like jackasses. I was so sure they were going to get beat down, but I guess that will wait for another day.

Saturday, June 26th - G20 Protests
I shot a wedding all day today and missed out on all the crazy rioting that happened in the afternoon, but this is what I saw as I walked home down Queen St at 11pm.
Kinda tame really.. I might head down into the action tomorrow if I have time.
